Hi! I’m Gabrielle, an interactive designer & artist living in the Hudson Valley.
I work as a UX and Senior Product Designer with 13 years of experience under my belt. The more I learn and work, the more passionate I become about the importance of functional design. While I love a well-designed product or app, I truly believe it must be functional before it can be beautiful.
I fell in love with design as the Editor-in-Chief of my high school yearbook, where I learned the importance of being pixel-perfect. I still design everything from my own cookbook to my daily planner. I pick out fonts from miles away, and you will definitely catch me aligning notebooks with pens on my desk. Even my optometrist said he could tell I’m critically detail-oriented.
While a designer by trade, I’m also an artist at heart. I love painting and drawing in my home studio, fascinated by plants, windows, and reflections. I also love to be involved in my local community. I recently completed a three-year term on the board of directors for the arts nonprofit RiverArts, and I ran a popular figure drawing event for four years.
I live with my husband, Jeff, and our one-year-old daughter, Taylor, in the beautiful Hudson Valley.
